To her recollection, philandering was not a part of her wedding vows, and she wasn't about to stand by while 'Sally from accounts' rolled about on her Egyptian cotton sheets. While trying to soothe her broken heart with copious amounts of cake and liqueur chocolates, her best friend, Olivia suggests that the best way to get over someone, is to get under someone else. Problems arise when the one Cora 'gets under' turns out to be the son of the Director of Prosecution—her boss. Worse still, he's young. Younger than Cora originally thought, and younger than she's comfortable with. But, when the attraction is undeniable, Cora needs to decide whether she'll turn her back on the enigmatic Brandon Sharp, or take a risk and follow her heart, even though she promised herself she'd never do that again......

Favorite Quotes:For me, social media was about sharing the best of my life and spying on other people’s. That’s why, when I found out my scumbag of a husband was cheating on me, I didn’t share a single tidbit of information with the world. I quietly changed my relationship status from ‘married’ to ‘it’s complicated’, then proceeded to cut the crotch out of every single pair of pants he owned. There might be plenty of fish, but last night, I caught a shark. How am I supposed to go back to fish after I had shark?“I’m not responsible enough to have a baby. I’m selfish and conceited and I don’t love anything other than my own reflection.” “That’s not true at all. You love money too.”Addicted? You’re blaming this on a disease, Jack? As far as I know there is no legitimate disease that causes accidental dick insertion. My Review:Doing a bit of damage to her philandering husband’s head with her laptop after catching him bumping uglies with a coworker caused Cora a heap of trouble on the job, it appears that prosecutors aren’t supposed to be violent. Her wily cheat of a husband turned out to be full of shocking surprises for the oblivious Cora. But lucky for Cora, she was too distracted by her new intern to be as torn up over the death of her marriage as she could have been as despite her transitional age of twenty-nine, she had quickly turned into a sex-obsessed teenaged boy after one sampling of the dimpled and freshly minted twenty-year-old sex god. They scorched the sheets and many other flat surfaces. Oh my, this one was a sizzler. Packed with expletives, erotic and salacious sensual scenes, scintillating and naughty banter, this one would definitely straddle the line of adult contemporary and erotic romance, but there was a rather sweet romance occurring between all the smoking hot sex. Written from a first person POV, the storyline was entertaining and relevant while the writing was engaging, cleverly amusing, and while heavily sensual it was also emotive. The story featured a large and memorable cast of quirkily endearing, intriguing, deeply flawed and wounded characters.

Wowee!! I had the pleasure of reading an arc of Never Again and I went into this story completely blind, with no idea of the plot or characters….what an experience it was. I was captivated by the very first chapter and could literally feel the connection coming through the pages. This story is addicting, so much so that I didn’t want to be an adult any longer, as I wanted to lock myself up to read every single word uninterrupted. This was such a captivating story and pretty damn hot, I’m sure you’ll get all the feels. I wish it didn’t have to end as I could easily read more of Cora and Brandon!!

GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!! This is definitely not something that I would have seen coming my way after reading the first couple of pages! It's hot, it's amazing, it's everything you weren't expecting at all. Olivia is the best friend we all want and Brandon is the man of our dreams but their story is one for the books. Y'all will absolutely love like no other!!

ARC received for an honest reviewTwo words - LOVED IT!Lilliana Anderson has done it again with Never Again. Cora and Brandon's story is one of inevitable love. No matter what they say or do, you just know that their story is going to be epic. There is so much emotion, you just cannot help but feel right along with Cora. Bran is just... I really, really didn't like her cheating ar5e of a husband. Oh my goodness he is a piece of work. Not going to lie, some things she did to him - well, I might have really wanted to do too - but more.Bran is the guy we all need in our lives. Young, hot, and completely enamoured with Cora, but there is so much more to him that I tripped and fell in love with him right from the start.I freaking LOVE Cora's best friend Olivia. She is the kind of best friend every girl needs in her life. She made me laugh so hard at times. I was completely swept away in this book. It is sweet, and sexy, and all kinds of complicated. And I couldn't put it down once I started. Now I am off to find a Bran of my own. Wish me luck!

Never Again is an older woman, younger man romance. Something that in the past has not been my favourite troup to read. I found myself enjoying reading Cora and Bran's story because it had such a twist of a storyline. The characters drew you in and you couldn't help but like them and want Cora to see that she and Bran belonged together.Cora is a little scared, a bit jaded and hurt by her past. Bran is what book boyfriends are made of. Olivia kept things entertaining, she was a fun character, she's the character that reminds you of a close girlfriend that you can't help but smile at. It had the right mix of funny, sweet and sexy to confound the angst. It was well written, this was the first book by Lilliana that I have read, a wonderful treasure was found within this the words of book.***Reviewed by Codie***

Lilliana, you are the bees knees. You never disappoint. You give me more and more with every book you write. This one. Never Again. I’m in awe. You take the words and make them a lottery ticket. I feel when I read one of your books, I win the lottery every time! You floor me. Keep writing. Keep letting me win the lotto. Never Again was EVERYTHING!

Where do I start with this book? Let me begin by saying that normally, I avoid age gap books where the female is older simply because she's usually incredibly insecure about her age. Every second page is the heroine thinking (or talking) about being old and it becomes so freaking irritating! And it pisses me off because in age gap romances where the male is the older character, authors don't have him whining over how "not pretty" he thinks he is or how "old" he is, nor does he constantly complain to the love interest about how there are "younger and prettier" boys for the heroine to date. I find it incredibly sexist that older women are written that way, but in men their age is seen as power and sex appeal. 🙄Let it be noted that I'm in my early twenties so my opinion is not based on me being "triggered".I am so damn happy this book is the exception!! So. Goddamn. Happy! Our heroine knows she's older, but be she doesn't dwell on it at all and I fucking admire her for going after what she wants -- which is a sexy, twenty year old named Brandon. The chemistry between these two characters is ELECTRIC. Actually, electric isn't even a strong enough word to describe it. Their chemistry is like lightning on crack. Honestly. This book takes you back to those wonderful 2013 era romances that I miss. The indie publishing industry now is full of romances that have absolutely no substance. They're all about dirty sex and shock value. It's almost a competition to see who can write the naughtiest, dirtiest sex scene and then put it on a teaser that no one can "like" because they don't want it popping up on their relatives Newsfeeds. Romances from "newer" authors these days aren't even full length anymore. I mean, come on. Put some effort in!! ...okay, I got off topic a little. This review is about Never Again. Refreshing, lovely, Never Again. I want to take a minute to praise Ms. Anderson for not following your typical formula. There were so many familiar paths she could have taken, but she didn't. Her heroine was strong and stuck to her plan. Not once did her personality waver and I admire her so fucking much. The complication of this love story is in the ugly form of her ex-husband, Jack. I loathe Jack. I want to cut the crotch out of his pants and take his dick along with it. I absolutely cannot stand that selfish, narcissistic asshole! Jack does everything he can to get Cora to take him back after she caught him banging another woman in her bed--even blackmail. I was going to end the book there, thinking I knew exactly what was going to happen. I've read so many of these tropes that I can usually tell you the end of the book by time I've finished reading the first chapter -- my husband hates me for it, lol, -- But this book didn't go how I expected it to and that's what made it so damn refreshing. Our Hero is alpha as hell. There are no words that can describe how smooth and mature he is for his age. Toward the end of his book, we see his child-like vulnerability, but it's nothing you wouldn't expect given his age and his morals. The secondary characters in Never Again compliment the story, and the main couple, nicely as well as help set the backdrop for this wonderful age-gap romance. I can't say enough about Never Again. I can't give it enough praise. I can't express my gratitude to Lillian Anderson in words that are good enough. I loved this book. Wholeheartedly. This is my first read by this author and I'm glad I took a chance on it. Lilliana Anderson has a gained a fan for life! P.s. Brandon has a dirty mouth and the sex is HOT!

3.5 starsI love older woman/younger man stories.I hate society cliché that a man must be older. As we say in Germany: there are only 2 things a person must do – to go to the toilet and to die. The rest is optional.Sorry for such colorful quote *lol*(view spoiler)[The h was 10 years older. I had no problem with their age difference, but a bit with his age. He was 20. 25 to 35 would work better. Regardless he was a very mature man. And again… *sniff* she was of course very inexperienced and was only with 1 man and he was of course very experienced and, above all, always preferred older women. Her husband cheated on her... of course. And not only, but he tried to ruin her life. Still pissed they didn’t castrate the fucker!Despite all this chaos and issues she was actually pretty cool. Ok, her temper, when she caught her husband f*cking OW, was hot (she slapped him with her laptop), but who am I to judge, I was never in such situation, but I guess I would cut his balls off, so laptop was actually harmless. TBH I was much frustrated about her situation with the ex. Is it really necessary in AU to do counseling, when the spouse cheated? Maybe… But all this ‘show’ was orchestrated by her husband and I had a feeling he had an upper hand. Then the blackmailing… Ugh! She showed her claws at the end, but I asked myself: why not earlier? As I said, it’s a shame they didn’t castrate the fucker.Best character in this story was heroine’s BFF Olivia – amazing woman! Floved her! Not often we have pleasure to read about BFFs, who actually care for their friends. Cheers to real friends! The romance itself: good chemistry, hot sex (even if the H was a bit too 'domineering' for my taste). Safe (except the scene when H wanted to make her jealous and let OW touch him – despite I don’t like such scenes, it was played nice and made sense (the guy was only 20! ;-)).I’m not against drama in the books, but please not based on ‘not-technically-lying but omitting-the-truth’. Ugh! They dated 4 months and she didn’t tell him she was still legally married? It was ok to keep it a secret at the beginning, but after they said ILY… Drama-lama. Solved well though.Sweet epilogue.Triggers: mild taboo - he was her intern and the son of her boss. As they had sex for the 1st time, they didn't know it.(hide spoiler)]Overall: Very intense. I couldn’t put it down.Age is just a number!Alex in facts: I hate, I loathe the word ‘cougar’, when they speak about older woman. Fuck clichés, fuck what the others think! Live your life, love your love!

Never Again is a really well written older woman, younger man contemporary romance. There is an excellent blend of steam, angst, humour and life baggage woven into a story that totally held my attention. As well as the older woman, younger man issues, Cora has an almost ex-husband that you just know is going to be a source of trouble. Cora and Bran's first meeting was also meant to be their last, at least as far as Cora was concerned. Life and Bran have different plans, and boy some of those plans are a little kinky and a LOT steamy. Wowsers this pair have enough chemistry to melt your kindle. They both keep secrets from each other which inevitably come and bite them on them on their 'arse'. I love that these books are set in Australia, with their almost British vocabulary. Although at times I wanted to shake Cora, I also totally got her reasoning. In fact this was one of the things I loved about the book, actions/decisions that you knew were stupid ("Oh that's so going to blow up in your face" stuff) were well explained/reasoned away.I can't put my finger on why I loved this story so much, or what exactly it was that captivated me. What I do know is that I totally LOVED this book, I virtually read it in one go, not wanting to put it down. I was just totally captured by Cora and Bran and am sad that I don't have the words to do their story justice. Whilst I've only read a few books by this author this is by far and away my favourite so far and I happily recommend it.

I was honored to be given an ARC copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.I have to start of by saying, I am a huge fan of Lilliana Anderson. I am so happy to have come upon her books on Amazon and have read every one. She definitely did not let me down with this one. As a young divorced woman, I was able to relate to Cora. Cora caught her husband cheating and is in the middle divorcing the only man she thought she would ever love. Her ex-husband is very manipulative and has not made things easy on her. To help relieve some stress her friend takes her out for a night of drinking and dancing which ends in, what is supposed to be, a one night stand. Cora is not a girl that normally does such a thing and later finds out it may not have been the best idea. The young, hot, super steamy man ends up being her boss's son...and her intern! The temptation of him becomes all Cora can think about and the book gets even hotter. You'll have to read to find out if she gives in or lets the man who has rocked her world slip away.It is a must read!

Brilliant writing, an epic love story with lots of emotion and so much realism that makes you get caught up in their drama. I got so sucked into Cora's world that I finished this in one sitting. Love is such a powerful emotion and it goes hand in hand with trust. Cora learns the hard way that when trust is broken by the person you thought you would spend the rest of your life with, nothing is what it seems. Her best friend Olivia gives her some amazing advice, including a great tip about taking home a younger man for the night to forget her problems. Cora does exactly that when she meets Brandon at a nighclub. Only to later discover that her one night stand is the much younger son of her boss and her new intern!I loved every minute of Cora and Bran's complicated and growing relationship dramas, they both came with baggage and uncovering truths and lies will be their biggest challenge in a world where we are judged daily by social media and what is acceptable in society's eyes. Fantastic read.

*I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest review. What can I say about Never Again, without giving away spoilers?! I have been a long time reader of Lilliana's books and this one is one of my top favorites! I related to Cora alot and I felt she was a real life representation of an almost 30 year old. What can I say about Brandon....he is everything! I can't say much without giving away the goods. Let's just say, I was shocked ;) I stayed up and finished this book in a day. I am wanting more!

Never Again is the newest release from Lilliana Anderson and boy is it a doozie. This book has it all. Great storyline, likeable characters and UNBELIEVABLY hot sexy time scenes.Cora is recently separated from her douchbag cheating husband, and Bran is the son of Cora's boss and soon to be training under Cora but when they meet for the first time it's not actually the first time. Bran is the gorgeous green eyed best lay of Cora's life. They met at a club and had one night of incredibly hot sex before Cora crept out before Bran woke up,leaving him with no way of knowing how to contact her.Cora and Bran are destined to be together, Now Cora just needs to realize this.

This was an interesting novel in several ways. Cora has been with Jack for 11 years and married for one year when everything comes crashing down. Her crazy friend, Olivia gets her to go out to live a little when she meets “green eyes,” who rocks her world. However, this is just the beginning of a lot of awkwardness, drama, and soul-searching, especially since he is about 10 years younger than she is. You know how you can’t help but look when you drive past a car accident? Never Again was somewhat like that. So, first of all, I immediately sympathized and empathized with Cora because of her nasty, cheating husband. Not only did her personal/love life crash because of him, but it also resulted in professional consequences. So yes, she needed a night out with her best friend Olivia. Where she lost me was with her lying. Whether outright or lying by omission, I’m not a fan and I lose any affection for a character, real-person, etc. once lies are present. Then there is Brandon. Young, gorgeous, charming, and obviously an expert in the bedroom. I loved that he made Cora feel so alive again, and I really tried to believe that there were real, true, emotional feelings between them. But it just didn’t feel right with me. No worries about hooking up with a younger, hot, world-rocking man after what had happened in her marriage, but as things progressed and as more information came to light about Brandon, I just didn’t feel like rooting them on.Despite all of this, I was completely sucked into this novel and found it completely engaging (albeit like a car wreck, but still). I read along with this novel watching Cora dig a deeper and deeper grave, and was consumed with the plot and what would happen next. So, despite any moral conflicts, I can still recognize a page-turning plot when I see one!Never Again isn’t at the top of my favorite reads list just because I didn’t trust the main characters, but this was still a great read. The hot, steamy scenes are off the charts (think Mr. and Mrs. Smith with Angelina and Brad), there is never-ending conflict keeping you on the edge of your seat, and there is also some wonderful scenes where Olivia embraces some serious life changes. If you can separate real-life from fiction and connect with these characters despite their faults, then this will be one hell of a read.

Love has no boundaries...including age Oh Lilliana, what a perfect story you have written. NEVER AGAIN was simply sublime. Once again you have lead me down a winding road with twists and turns thrown in to simply change the direction. This is not just a love story, it is powerful, vulnerable, allows for second chances, encompasses everchanging emotions, shows strength and friendship.Cora Knowles is a woman whose entire world has been turned upside down - the victim of a husband who just couldn't keep his pants on. She has lost everything and begins to rebuild her life, beginning with a trip to a nightclub with her bestie Olivia. From here her life will never be the same - a man with emerald green eyes is going to make sure of that.Brandon Sharp meets Cora at a nightclu and together they share a truly hot and sexy one-night-stand. To his delight, and her horror, he bcomes Cora's new intern at the DPP. I loved Brandon, he was everything a woman could want in a man: virile, caring, attentive and oh so hot and alpha-like.Their relationship is not an easy one, both are hiding secrets, from each other and those around them. Age becomes a large factor in their relationship - an older woman dating a much younger man. I thought this was brilliant, as you don't see many relationships with this sort of make-up. Lilliana made this story work because it is realistic, it's personal and because she shows that, with every relationship the are complications that do arise.I must admit that i fell in love with Olivia, Cora best friend. She was, quite simple, a breath of fresh air. Nothing and no one was going to change her attitude to life - go out and enjoy and who cares the consequences.Once again, this book was simply outstanding. From the very first page I was immersed in the characters and the storyline. The characters were totally believeable, even nasty and self-centred Jack. The flow of the story/plotline was perfect, very easy to read with no uncessary juping or switching of POVs.This is yet another novel by Lilliana that I highly recommend and encourage others to read.FIVE STARS

Must Read...5 STARS … “loving you is also like water” ...“Water was necessary to life. Living things simply couldn’t exist without it.”Lilliana has done it again. This book got me hooked from the beginning. I couldn’t put the book down!! The storyline has an easy flow which makes it such an interesting and easy read. The familiar scenes in Melbourne really captivated my attention throughout the story. The story begins in a way we can empathise with Cora’s immense bad luck. Starting off with her cheating husband holding an intervention order against her which impacts her career and her best friend (her attorney) previously sleeping with the magistrates husband!!! Cora and Brans relationship then unravels into one with more complications. Where Brandon Sharp, Cora’s intern was the Adrian Sharp (the directors) son! Aghhhhh ...Their relationship deepens as the book unwinds and strong emotions are shared.... but when Jack arse comes in the picture, hell breaks loose... Relationships, Career, Adversity, Pain, Love and Friendship are all discovered in this story.... At the end of the day when two are destined together ... will they always end up together???? Will it end up being a Never again ???A big 5 STARs to Never Again! Thank you Lilliana 😊

I know authors spend a lot of time getting a book synopsis just right but if it’s an author I like I don’t read them so I knew nothing going in and boy oh boy this author brought her A game.Sexy older woman ✅Sinful young man candy ✅Hot and heavy sex ✅Potty mouthed man ✅Good story ✅Cora has been sucker punched by her her husband Jack <——— ( prick face ) and is dragged kicking and screaming for a night out by her best friend Olivia who I loved. On the night out she meets Brandon who is just too sexy to be ignored. The first foreplay scene, fans self was sensual and scorching I’m surprised my kindle didn’t catch fire. This is a story that completely captivated me from the start the only thing I didn’t like was Jack, he made me soooo angry. The relationship between them was really special and what starts as just sex grows into so much more. Seeing Cora grow in strength and determination was really empowering, she may be down but she’s not out. Brandon aaah I fell so hard for this complicated young man who is so supportive but has a dominant side that comes out in the bedroom.I loved this story so much and can’t wait to see what’s next from one of my favourite authors.reviewed by Sweet Spot Sisterhood

I love May-December relationships especially when its younger man older woman. As with all Ms. Anderson books the setting is set in Australia(where the author is from) Cora has found out her marriage to Jack has all been a lie. The eleven years they have been together he cheated on her and she would have never found out till she walked in on him banging a woman in their marital bed. So begins this story where Cora who is a lawyer is devastated and heartbroken about the betrayal. Her best friend Olivia tells her in order to forget her hurt she needs to go to a bar and have revenge sex. So starts this story where Cora meets Brandon(the way he is describe in this book makes me want a Brandon ha ha)an adonis looking nineteen year old to her twenty-nine years. The way the scenes are written the first time both meet is exhilarating my heart was palpitating. As they start a steamy illicit affair that at first Cora tries to fight the attraction stating their ages, but Brandon kept knocking down her reasoning. As time progress in their relationship we begin to learn that this may just not be a physical thing but much more. I was fortunate to be given an ARC by the author.

My oh my!This story started out as a slow burn for me, but, oh I enjoyed it. Anderson continues to impress me with her writing. Her characters are incredible, they are written in ways we can relate to. I fell in love with Brandon from the get. He was mature, exciting, he had depth. Cora was very likable, sometimes she frustrated me with her insecurities, but they were believable things, especially for a woman in her situation. The story overall was great, it had heat, drama. It was serious and humorous when it needed to be. The main characters and supporting characters were impeccable. Love love Olivia.I loved even more that this story was about an older woman (though she wasn't ancient) and a younger man, don't see many of those stories around, actually this was my first and there was nothing in it I hated, well except for Jack.

I was so excited to have the opportunity to read "Never Again" as an ARC. As usual, Lilliana Anderson did NOT disappoint! The characters were enthralling and the story line kept me on edge. I fell in love with Cora and Bran and couldn't put the book down waiting to see how their love would unfold. I enjoyed the intricate details of the life around their legal careers as much as I enjoyed their intimate scenes. I also appreciated that it wasn't a cliff hanger or the beginning of a series. Although I have enjoyed Ms. Anderson's series, it was nice to get involved in a standalone book. Highly recommend and know will you enjoy it as much as I did.

Recommended by two book friends. I love older woman younger man reads. Bran can definitely teach other men how to treat a woman, so loving and caring. For such a young man he was very dominant and bossy I loved that about him. The hard time Cora faced with the breakdown of his marriage, seriously his ex is an immature asshole. She’s an amazing character, the break up made her stronger and I love her and Bran together
