"You're even more beautiful when you smile, do you know that?"I am so hooked on this series!! First I fell in love with Calem. Then came Jesse. Now, I love Quinn!!! This book had crime, mystery, humor, hotness, and strong alpha men. What more could you ask for?Quinn Peters has started his own private investigation business after a not-so-polite interaction with his superior at the NYPD leaves him unemployed. His first customer is someone he never thought he'd see again. He only met her once before, but she left an impression on him. Now, her sister is missing and she needs his help finding her, no matter if the end result isn't the best one. Can he draw the line between his professional side, and the side that wants to explore every inch of her? Jen Daniels needs help. Her sister is missing. Again. While her sister has disappeared before, this time feels different. An anonymous video claiming she was a victim of a serial killer leads her to Quinn's door. She knows he was the best detective on the NYPD and she trusts that he will do everything in his power to find Sarah. She also knows that she never forgot him after their first meeting. She still feels the attraction. Can she mix the desires of her heart with her desire to find her sister? Will the secrets he has to keep from her tear them apart? The case becomes more than Quinn ever imagined, and he enlists the help of both Calem and Jesse, and brings on a new hire, Noah, who has mad computer hacking skills from his time on the Special Victim Unit, to help bust the organization called The Network wide open.I really enjoyed those funny moments between Quinn and Jen too. There were so many chuckles when it was just the two of them. I loved this story and the prospect of the Dream Team!! Can't wait to see what's next in this series. Noah's story is bound to be epic!!

Let me start by saying this is quickly becoming my favorite series. Quinn is the 3rd book in the New York's Finest series and so far my new favorite.Quinn Peters is a former detective, who after leaving the NYPD decides to open a PI business.Jen Daniels is the former director of a shelter for at-risk teens. When Jen believes her sister Sarah is missing she goes to the one person she believes can find her: QuinnI won't tell the story but I will say this is a well written book with an engaging storyline that held my attention from the very beginning and characters that are so likeable you can't help but cheer them on to their HEA.

Christopher Harlan has done it again! Quinn has all the elements you have come to expect from Christopher's books...an intriguing story that captures you, characters that you feel connected to, and chemistry that leaves you breathless. With all of the characters we've grown to love over the course of the New York's Finest Series, you do NOT want to miss this book. I cannot wait for the next one!

Where does one start with Quinn?

Let’s start with how much I love how Christopher Harlan starts this series with a preview. That preview, a glimpse towards the story’s conclusion. Oh boy… this preview had my heart pounding - was not what I’d come to expect. I know right… sorry people - now you have to read it to find out what happens :) The preview begs you to keep reading to find out what is happening. Like any good series, familiar characters are recurring! I love that aspect to a series… they not only have become familiar from their individual stories, they become family and you want to know what they’re up to. In Quinn, the guys will pit their skills to solve something dark, something deep and it’s personal. Their ladies... well they show you why they're special and formidable. We meet people briefly in the course of our life, our work day or by chance - they leave a momentary impression. But is that impression enough to want more? Sometimes, nothing further arises. It’s merely an encounter. However, fate has other plans for Quinn and Jen - it will be a case like no other. What starts out as being a missing person turns into something so much more. Deadly, mysterious, sinister. It takes the entire team, working together to solve this PI case. It’s a race against time to save a sister, while not so innocent, definitely doesn’t deserve her humanity taken and sold.Amongst the dramatic suspense and a case unfolding, attraction blooms. You're starting a new career, does one even have time and energy for something new?Do you flirt with a client that you want to get to know better? Do you keep things professional? There is attraction but also feelings of being unsure of each other. Quinn is a dichotomy of strength and vulnerability. A leader yet willing to follow. Calculating yet insightful, thoughtful. A man with hidden talents and passions, that he shares, quite happily with Jen to make her feel special. Those make for some pretty touching, romantic moments.Jen is the women to keep him on his toes as evidenced in their quick witty banter. She is refreshing, strong, yet has moments where it feels she is cold and unfeeling. Don’t be deceived by this… she is deeply introspective of live. She has learnt to cope, by protecting herself from further hurt. She has money but is not pretentious. Her former job as a carer of those who needed help the most is evidence of this.Like Calem and Cordelia, Jesse and Haddie… you will fall in love with Quinn and Jen. Christopher also introduces a special someone... not just a glimpse, he’s vital to this case and he’s going to melt hearts as our next NYPD hero - NOAH. Now that is another story I am most definitely looking forward too. There was a small element and character in the story that confused me but I’m actually thinking it’s going to be further explored before we get to the conclusion of this series. That’s the nature of this insiduous group… it’s big and ever evolving… only the tip of the iceberg has been exposed in QUINN.Christopher Harlan gives you an inner glimpse of what each person is thinking and feeling inside the pages of QUINN. It’s a beautiful story with dramatic suspense that will lead you into the next book in the series to come. You will want to definitely keep reading, Noah is going to turn heads!!

Quinn Peter's life story can be told by the intricate tattoos that he displays proudly on his arms. He is the only one who knows exactly what they represent , which is just how he likes it. This way, he never has to talk about himself if he doesn't want to. He is a former Navy Seal who, at an early age, knew that he was destined to serve his country. His attention to detail and his ability to always know what was going on around him resulted in his swift promotion to detective, where he also had the highest closing rate. He thought he would retire from the NYPD, but the rules, regulations and office politics were just too much for him to handle. After a heated argument with his superior, he quit. Luckily, he had been working on becoming a Private Investigator, so he found office space in Brooklyn and hung up his shingle. He was confident that he could handle any person or case that came his way, until he looked up from his desk and thought he was imagining things. Why was she here and why did she look so sad? She was just as beautiful as he remembered. He never thought he would ever see Jen again and he was determined to help her. Jen Daniels is best friends with Haddie, the wife of Quinn's former partner, Jesse. Her estranged sister Sarah is missing, and because she knows that Quinn is the best, she hires him to find her. In her mind he can do no wrong and she trusts him completely. She pours her heart out to Quinn and tells him things about her sister and her family that she never tells anyone. Quinn had met Jen once very briefly, but he never forgot her. The more he got to know her now, the more he realized it will be hard to draw the line between his personal and professional feelings. He thinks about her all the time and just being near her brings him so much happiness. His immediate focus is on finding Sarah and bringing her home to her family. Will Quinn be able to safely locate Sarah or will he be walking into a dangerous and possibly life threatening situation?"Quinn" by Christopher Harlan is the third book in his New York City's Finest Series and I absolutely loved it. Quinn is brave and humble, and has devoted his life to public service. The only thing missing was someone to love and he found that with Jen. Harlan realistically captures the essence of law enforcement which makes the story true to life. The next book in the series takes place in the Bronx and features Noah, who is working for Quinn at the PI firm.

Quinn is now my FAVORITE male lead in this series; however, this book wasn't my favorite. Each book in this series has had a different writing style, third person from multiple characters (Calem); first person (Jesse); and now Quinn (third person, from his perspective and a supporting female perspective), and it's kind of throwing me for a loop. I feel like a connected series like this should be written in the same style, but that's just my opinion and maybe the author has some sort of grand layout when the series comes to an end.Like I said I loved Quinn; he's physically strong, but not a gym rat; loves to cook and bake; intelligent; thoughtful; sensitive, but not a pushover. Overall Quinn is the perfect book boyfriend. Normally when I read a book I'm all about continuity, connection, and attention to detail and I found the connection a little lacking here and couldn't figure out why little details were included, that didn't appear to be necessary by the end of the book. However, as I jotted down notes to write this review I thought about where the storyline might be going based on the progression of this book and where the series as a whole is headed (don't worry no spoilers), some of these connections will probably be made in the next two books.I liked Jen's character because at one point you'll think she's cold hearted and Quinn isn't afraid to call her out on it (LOVED THIS). When she explains why it all makes sense and brings realism to her character.I wish Brooklyn had played a bigger character like Queen's did in Jesse. I feel like there was a lot of time spent outside of this borough when compared to the first two books. It would have been nice to get Jen's perspective on Quinn and to be able to connect with her more; and as a whole their relationship felt rushed even more so when compared to the first two books. The thought/ vs. speech was very repetitive, I would read what Quinn thought, and then read it again when his character made a statement. I will definitely be continuing the series because I'm truly interested in seeing how this all ends. I've read all the authors books and will continue to read his work.

The great stories continue in Book 3 of the New York’s Finest series! It’s full of some more action, suspense, angst and romance, of course. Quinn is Jess’s partner in Book 2. He was quite mysterious and a bit of a hothead at times. In his story, Quinn is venturing out on his own, with a new business. The last thing he expects is to have Jen be his first client. He still remembers their first meeting at the center she ran for at-risk teens. The spark was there then and it’s still crackling now. Jen is dealing with a missing sister and she wants to hire the best PI, which in her assessment is Quinn. This new twist in Jen’s life takes them on a dangerous path where any wrong move can have detrimental consequences. But for Jen, Quinn will risk it all. I absolutely loved everything about this story, the plot, the characters and the twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat. There is always action and suspense in Chris Harlan’s stories blended together with romance and hot chemistry between the main characters. I love that we get to see how the other characters are doing in their lives. I still think I love Calem the best but these other heros are amazing as well. I can’t wait for Noah’s story.

Phenomenal!I had the honor to read this book as an ARC and was blown away! The storyline is so gripping I could not put it down. Quinn is trying to get his investigation business off the ground and takes on a tough first task....finding Jen's missing sister. To make it happen he reaches out to Calem and Jesse for advice and support. When Noah enters the picture with his knowledge and computer skills the case takes on another level. They uncover a network of human trafficking that is taking the case into a new direction of dirty money, corrupt businesses and more missing people. To safe Jen's sister they have to pull all their resources together and put themselves in harms way.Quinn is book 3 in The New Yorks Finest Series and brings back the characters from book 1 and 2 and introducing Noah. I was glued to the pages. I love the fact that past and future characters are worked into the storyline. It really brings all the books together while introducing Noah, the main character in book 4. Christopher Harlan has a way of writing that a really love. The characters are very well developed and the books flow seamlessly together. He is one author to watch for. A must read in my library!

Book 3 Quinn Best one yet in the Series Quinn...what can I say? Christopher Harlan has written another great story. First I fell in love with Calem. Then Jesse stole my heart. An now Quinn comes along and steals another piece of my heart as well. If it's wrong to love all three men at the same time then I don't want to be right.Quinn Peters, war vet, former NYPD bad boy turned Private Eye is a thoughtful, respectful, methodically detail oriented man who can cook gnocchi!! Jen Daniels is a warm hearted, strong willed woman who knows what she wants (an did willing to go for it). Jen has a sister in trouble and turns to Quinn for help. Together they embark on a mission to find out what happened to Jen's sister. Along the way Quinn puts together a dream team of investigators when he enlists Calem and Jesse. Then hires computer wiz Noah to work for him. Needless to say this story moves fast, answering some questions on who is "The Network" and asking more questions that I look forward to finding the answers to when we learn more in the next book Noah. Be warned my heart, you will lose another part to Noah I am sure.

This is the third book in Christopher Harlan's New York City's Finest series. Quinn doesn't feel like he fits in at the Brooklyn division of the NYPD and as the story opens, he is fired from the police force. He uses his background from his stints in the SEALs and the NYPD to become a private investigator. Even before he is technically open for business, his first client walks into his unfurnished office. It is Jen, who he briefly met while still partnering with Jesse (book 2) in Queens. This time, sparks fly, although they both attempt to keep their relationship professional. At first.Christopher seamlessly incorporates characters from the previous books in this series (Calem, Jesse) as Quinn asks for their assistance in his first case. Jen's troubled older sister, Sarah, has disappeared and there are precious few clues leading to her recovery. With such well-developed characters, a descriptive, carefully drawn storyline, and a slow-burning romance, Christopher inexorably draws his readers in and surprises them with twists and unexpected turns. This is Christopher's best book to date. And I can't wait to read the next book in this tantalizing series.

If you have read the first 2 books in this series you know that the guys in each story are the alpha male with heart, courage, loyalty and love. Each story gives us a unique view into them and this book is no different. With this one we have Quinn, a cop who was tired of his boss and tells him to screw off, which I laughed so hard by the way. He starts his own PI firm and he brings back the guys to help with his first case. It is something that we deal with in everyday life but we just don't hear about all to much. The Dark Web is something that we as a group of people are still trying t understand but with this story it becomes a little more clear. Quinn is thrown into this case to help Jen a friend of Jesse's wife Haddie who is trying to find her sister. It becomes apparent that they have strong feelings and hope for the best that she is found safe. But by the end if the story we see alot go on and have a happy ending. I am so in live with this sees and can't wait to read Noah's story. I congratulate you Christopher on another brilliant masterpiece. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy.

One of my favorite things about this series is that each book takes place in one of the 5 boroughs. I love NYC and hearing places I've been to mentioned, just adds to the storyline and its authenticity. Quinn used to be a cop, but it's hard to always tow the line and comply when you know it's complete crap. After a tough case, Quinn and his boss have a heated disagreement and he quits in epic fashion. He loves doing parts of his job, but not all its restrictions so he opens his own PI firm. This is where Jen comes in. They have met briefly before through mutual friends. Jen is seeking out his help to find her sister who is missing. No love lost between the two sisters, but blood is blood and she wants to know what happened to Sarah.A great story with secrets and suspense that will keep you turning the pages and some magnetic chemistry between Quinn and Jen. I enjoyed getting to catch up with Jesse and Calem. It's always fun to revisit with characters within a series. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Quinn by Christopher Harlan is the 3rd book in the New York's Finest series. Christopher takes us on a ride through the seedy side of New York in this story about Quinn (who was Jesse's partner in Book 2 where he briefly met Jen who ran a local program for kids. Quinn embarks on a journey of his own, beginning his own business and his first case is Jen who is looking for her sister. This story take us through a seedy underground organization that finds women to be sold into slavery for whatever these men want. Trying to find a lead on where Jen's sister Sarah has gone. This story also brings us a story of love and forgiveness that is completely suspenseful and keeps you on the edge of your seat hoping for the best outcome. It probably can be read as a standalone but if you have plans to read Calem and Jesse, the first two books, I would read them in order so you don't get spoilers on how those two end up.

What more can I say then Wow? Book 3 in this series is no less stellar than the ones before it.This is an amazingly well written book that I was hard pressed to put down at any time. This book has it all, the reintroduction of Quinn and this is his tale. How after leaving the force to open his own PI business, the first case through his door is that of Jen - someone he had interactions before with his old partner Jesse. This is no small case of a missing person, that would be too simple. This brings Quinn to the top of his game and him enlisting the help of his friends Jesse, Calem and new to team Noah. The mystery, mayhem, murder, intrigue and will have you turning the pages to find out what happens next. But don't forget the attraction that is ever growing between Quinn and Jen. The steamy scenes between these two are scorching. Can they overcome everything that is going on? Solve this case and still survive in this budding romance. This is a 5 star read for sure.

The 3rd book in the New York's Finest series is just as good as the first 2. I loved getting to know the guy behind the facade with Quinn. He's raw and he's very real. Quinn doesn't sugar coat anything from information to feelings, he's a straight shooter. We find Jen again after she has left the shelter, for reasons of her own, and is looking for some serious help. Lucky for her she stumbles upon Quinn and his new business. Not knowing if either will recognize the other from before, they both remember and get off on the right foot. I love banter between Quinn and Jen, the way she calls him on some of the things a lesser woman wouldn't and the fact that he admires her more for it. The slow build of their relationship while Quinn works the case is perfect. I like the way we still get to see familiar faces from the previous books too. I can't wait to see what Christopher comes up with for Noah next.

Quinn (New York City's Finest Book 3)I am addicted to this series from Christopher Harlan! Each of the first two books, Calem and Jesse, pulled me in from the first page and Quinn was no different. I love that each of these books can run as a standalone, but if you have read the others, you will fully enjoy the glimpses of previous characters and updates on their lives. Quinn and Jen had met in passing in a previous book in this series, but had developed any kind of a report prior to Jen seeking out Quinn for help finding her missing sister. The two seem to have immediate chemistry, but will a romantic entanglement interfere with Quinn's ability to find her sister? Where will this investigation lead? Will he find her? Will Quinn and Jen get together in the end? You will have to find out for yourself, but don't worry, it won't take long as you will be unable to put this book down until long after it ends!

Another great read from Christopher HarlanQuinn: Book 3 in the New York City's Finest series doesn't disappoint.Quinn Peters - former Navy Seal, former NYPD investigator turned PI and he can cook. Can you say swoon?Jen Daniels - beautiful, smart and driven to help others in need especially her troubled sister. Can Quinn locate Jen's missing sister Sarah? No spoilers here. You're really hoping that Jen gets her happy ending with her sister and her HEA with Quinn. The story has several layers going on at once that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It's well written with lots of mystery, intrigue and plenty of steam. Plus we get to see some familiar characters from Books 1 & 2. Can be read as a standalone but I would start with book one as the characters build in each story (even in the background.)

Quinn, book 3 in the New York City’s Finest series is another quality read by Christopher Harlan.Quinn leaves the NYPD and starts his own PI business. His first case is brought to him by Jen, who he had previously met through his former partner Jesse. She asks him to find her older sister. This is a really interesting story. A group of smart police officers working together to find out about a secret Network that is committing horrible crimes. There is also romance - Quinn is attracted to his client, while trying to be professional.I like the seamless way that the prior books intertwine with this one, but they can be read as standalones. There is a natural development to Quinn’s relationship with Jen. And he cooks! Who thought that making potato gnocchi would be sexy! Give this one a read. You won’t be disappointed!

Another great book in this outstanding series!I knew this book was go to be excellent the minute I read the Internal Memo!Quinn is tired of dealing with the bureaucracy from the higher ups. He leaves the force and starts his own PI business. He’s a strong man but also sweet. He’s detailed and takes his time with everything.Jen’s sister goes missing so she goes to Quinn for help in finding her.She trusts him fully. In this book Quinn enlists the help of Caleb and Jesse. So we get to see them again. Also someone new Noah. This is an intense gripping read. Filled with suspense and intrigue.Very well written with great characters and a very real storyline and plot.I voluntarily read an advanced copy

Naming this series as New York's Finest hits the nail right on the head. This is the third book and with each and everyone of these you fall more in love with each new character that is introduced. Quinn was the book I had been waiting for and this guy did not disappoint. His story is action packed with mystery, suspense, drama, romance, humour and some off the charts steamy scenes. We get to revisit with two of our favourite men Calem and Jesse and be introduced to another hottie by the name of Noah. The connection and chemistry between Quinn and Jen is off the charts and will have you totally enchanted by these two characters. The underlying mystery that surrounds their story will have you not only captivated but will have your mind working overtime as it tries to deduce the who, what and where. Absolutely loving this series and cannot wait for the next instalment of New York's Finest.

Quinn is the 3rd book in the New York's Finest series and once again Christopher Harlan gives us a beautifully written story. His characters are complex and Quinn is no exception. He is a Renaissance man with diverse talents who is adjusting to a new profession. Faced with uncovering a dangerous organization and rescuing a young girl Quinn calls on his friends Calum and Jesse (books one and two in the series). Christopher's writing is sophisticated yet relatable and often reads with a melodic rhythm that allows you to get lost I. the story. since his debut book he has been one of my Top 5 1-click authors.

I think this has to be my favourite of the three in this series....to date!!I just love Quinn!!! He is soft but protective, sweet but strong, tentative but determined....oh and super smexy and he can cook !!!!! Quinn has finally had enough and has left the police department after years of being told what to do, deciding it's time to be his own boss and open his own business as a private investigator. With her sister missing Jen goes to Quinn for help. With twists, turns, action and the underbelly of Brooklyn raising its ugly head, there is nothing else to want for!! I loved Quinn and Jens story and I can't wait to read Noah's!!

This is book 3 in a 5 book series and QUINN did NOT disappoint! He is very calm, cool, and collected. He is precise. He is ALL things! He is one of those guys that will give you warm fuzzy feelings just by him looking at you. He loves to kiss (my dream guy) and he loves to make his girl feel special. He cooks ladies...and BAKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean what more could you ask for? Not much that's for sure. This is a great romance book and it also has a very fast paced story line with some drama that makes the book that more enjoyable. #Tattoos #MouthBlowers #DreamTeam #CaramelizedVeggies #ConeyIsland #Precise

Another phenomenal book from the mind of Christopher Harlan!Quinn is a former Navy SEAL and former NYPD officer turned Private Invesitgator; just opening his office when Jen walks in with a potential case: her sister has gone missing. With the help of Calem, Jesse and new comer Noah, he hopes to have a happy ending for Jen and Sarah.Jen's sister has largely be out of her life for the longest time, but she feels as if something is wrong and finds something on YouTube that has her worried the Sarah may be dead. Holy hell! Quinn is a hot ex-Seal, who cooks and loves Starbucks! Jen is one lucky girl! Again Mr. Harlan doesn't disappoint.

Quinn's days as a Navy Seal prepared Jim for 2 of the most challenging challenging things he will face, taking on his first case of his new PI firm and falling in love with his client. Quinn worked hard to seperate his personal feelings from the case while dating his client. He struggled with what he should share. He eventually found the right balance only to be shot while ending his first case. He and Jen find love in this challenging time. This wasn't my favorite of the NY'S finest series but I did enjoy the aspect of seeing how much of these men lives they hide just to get the job done. I enjoyed the banter between Quinn and Jen and I loved seeing Dream Team come together.

I loved this book. Each book gets better and better. This is the story of Quinn Peters and Jen Daniels. After Quinn finds himself jobless after an altercation he starts his own private investigators business. His first customer is Jen. They briefly met before and that left an impression on Quinn. Jen comes to him because her sister is missing and needs his help. When Quinn realizes he needs help he ask Calem and Jesse. Along with Noah who has computer hacking skills and also worked in the special victims unit. Can Quinn and Jen be professional or will feelings and secrets keep them from forming any kind of relationship?
