It Dreams in Me by Kathleen O'Neal Gear was, quite simply, not very good. I grabbed it for cheap in my Walgreen's to see what a supposed "historical romance" would be like. It was not very historical, and it certainly wasn't a romance. It was more of a weird Florida Indians mystery.... Yeah. Reading this book was kind of like walking through an art museum and seeing Rembrandt after Rembrandt, and then stumbling upon a Japanese ink painting of only two lines. The ink is lovely, but after all those Rembrandts, well...all you can say is "meh." If it were a fully-fledged Japanese ink painting, maybe you'd say wow, but this is only two lines. The rest is blank white page. The "blank white page" in this metaphor is what is left for you, the reader, to fill in for yourself. All the author gives you is bare sketch lines and the rest is a blank. There is no depth, no true description, no beauty.

A nice conclusion to the trilogy, I for sure didn't see some of the things that happen coming. Recommend for sure!

It Dreams in MeI just finished this incredible story by Kathleen Gear and like all the books by her and her husband, this one held me from the first paragraph through the last. Now I have several more to read. I really love all the Gears book. Great story tellers!

What a strange book! I didn't realize it was the last book of a trilogy, which might explain some of the strangeness. I'm not sure if I'll bother to read the first two books.

With this book we really got a close look at Flint and Sora's relationship in the past and what he was up to know. Also this book had some great moves for those that love political intrigue. Wink made some moves that were so cold hearted, with the old adage of the welfare of the many is better than the welfare of one.Sore is still trying to find a cure for her. Again the methods were crazy and involved sex. The answers that she finds along the way are interesting.Overall I found this series to be very interesting on why some people think they are better than others, that they deserve more, and the lengths they go to to get it.

The book is the conclusion for the Black Falcon trilogy. There are many long and boring passages in the middle accompanied by several sex scenes, which we've already seeen in the last two books. It's also quite annoying to see that Sora constantly switches which guy she's attracted to. However, the conclusion was very satisfying and quite entertaining near the end.

This is the last of a trilogy, which I didn't read. It's also only written by one of the Gear's (usually husband and wife write them together). It was an okay read, interesting but not like the usual written by the Gear's.

The ending needed to be a bit clearer. Still unsure about exactly what was causing her illness, or whether she was really murdering people. Also, the politics of it all wrapped up a little to neatly.

It was interesting to read a book where the women ran the tribes and I loved reading about all of the clans and their views on souls, spirits and dreaming. Although there were instances where the sex shifted power.

Seems like a good story, and engaging writing but I'm having a really hard time getting through this. I keep picking it up, then putting it down, then picking it up, then putting it down, then... you get the picture.

Loved loved loved it!!!!!!! It wrapped up the series quite well. Even though things don't end exactly the way one thinks they should, the last page fixes everything.
